Early-stage startups (Series A+ / FDA pathway) pitch cutting-edge GI innovations (8–10 min each) addressing key clinical challenges. Each pitch preceded by a 1-minute product video and followed by 5-min Q&A with an expert panel including industry R&D leader, physician innovator, and regulatory representative. Growth-stage companies may present in this track with appropriate positioning.

FELLOWS TRACK – Early Innovators Bootcamp (Part 1)

Dedicated track modeled on Hopkins SABIT and Stanford Biodesign. Interactive mini-lectures and small-group exercises: Innovation 101, Building Your Innovation Team, Networking with Industry. Faculty includes experienced innovators, KOLs (including junior faculty), and industry leaders.

MAIN TRACK – Speed Connections: Industry/Clinician Networking

Structured round-robin meetings between industry leaders and physician innovators/KOLs. Strategic partners (Medtronic, Boston Scientific, Olympus, etc.) host dedicated stations. Groups rotate every 10–15 minutes. Each participant engages with multiple industry leaders, initiating relationships that extend beyond FIESTA. Addresses 2025 feedback for more direct industry engagement.

Regulatory & FDA Pathways session (10:45–11:15 AM) covering device classification, 510(k), PMA, and De Novo pathways. Group pitch presentations to faculty panel (11:15 AM–12:00 PM): fellows present 5–7-minute pitches of decks developed during morning workshop. Best pitch recognized at Saturday awards ceremony.

Dynamic fireside chat exploring the business side of innovation. Technology Showcase


ASGE invites you to participate in the Technology Showcase as part of the FIESTA program—an opportunity to present your innovation to general and advanced gastroenterologists, including endoscopists.

Participants will present their technology across two sessions: a brief didactic presentation with Q&A, followed by a hands-on demonstration in the Bioskills Lab where attendees and expert faculty can engage with your innovation and provide feedback.

The ASGE EndoEdison Award


EndoEdison is a premier competition spotlighting the next generation of endoscopic innovation. Designed for inventors and early-stage startups, this dynamic experience offers a unique platform to showcase your ideas, gain exposure and connect with leaders shaping the future of GI care.

A panel of expert judges will select the most promising innovations to present at FIESTA, November 20–21. Finalists will take the stage for a 10-minute presentation, followed by an interactive, hands-on demonstration in the Bioskills Lab.

Gain valuable feedback from industry leaders, build meaningful connections and compete for the ASGE EndoEdison Award, with the winner advancing as ASGE’s representative at the 2027 DDW Shark Tank!
