First-Year Fellows (FYF) Program


ASGE's First-Year Fellows (FYF) Program is a comprehensive training experience that prepares early-career endoscopists for success in clinical practice. Combining expert-led instruction with hands-on learning in small cohorts, the program equips fellows with the foundational knowledge, technical skills, and professional confidence needed to advance their careers in gastroenterology. Available both in-person and virtually, the program offers flexible access to world-class training and mentorship from leading endoscopy professionals.

Application Process

To attend the First-Year Fellows Program, please follow the steps outlined below:

Complete the online membership application (from a desktop/laptop). Trainee members receive all member benefits throughout GI Fellowship for just $75! Full payment for trainee membership must be paid in advance with the application. Fellows, please note: You will be required to enter your Program Director’s name and email address. Please have this information available before beginning the process.

Complete Application

Upon completion of the online membership application, your program director will receive an email requesting endorsement of your participation in the program. Once your program director replies and all application data is verified, your membership will be approved (you will receive an email).

After you receive the welcome email, you can register for the course. Please check the event calendar for the next First-Year Fellows Program.
