“While the Distinguished Service Award recognizes an individual’s contributions to the ASGE and its members, every single accomplishment over the decades – the national guidelines and standards of practice, the quality metrics, the legislative and regulatory wins, and more – represents a team effort involving so many wonderful colleagues and ASGE staff. Everything we’ve achieved together ultimately improves healthcare delivery for our patients, making this award an incredible reminder of why we do what we do as members of this exceptional Society.”
