ACG, AGA, and ASGE submitted joint recommendations to CMS on the CY2026 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule, Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System, and Ambulatory Surgery Centers proposed rules.

The Standards of Practice (SOP) Committee has developed a guideline entitled, “ASGE Guideline on endoscopic management of benign and malignant colonic strictures.” The document is available now for review and comment through October 11, 2025.

ASGE hosted its second National Colorectal Cancer (CRC) Screening Summit on September 4 at the ASGE Institute for Training and Technology in Downers Grove, IL.

ASGE is on record  in support of legislation (H.R. 4299) that holds physician reimbursement for Part B drugs harmless from drug price negotiation.
